The Corry Area School District has the following positions available for the 2022-2023 school year:
The Corry Area School District is currently accepting applications for the following positions:
One (1) Special Education Teacher - Autistic Support. The position is at the Corry Area High School for students in 9th through 12th grade. Applicants must hold a valid PA Certificate for Special Education 7-12 or K-12.

One (1) Secondary Business Education Teacher.  Applicants must hold a valid PA Certificate in Business/Computer/Information Technology PK-12 or Marketing/Distributive Education.

One (1) Math Interventionist (New Temporary Position – Grant Funded).  The position is at the Corry Area Middle School for students in 6th through 8th Grade.  Applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania Math 7-12 Certification or Math 6-9 Certification.  The successful applicant will work with individual and small groups of students to deliver individualized instruction to address critical learning gaps in Mathematics, plan and implement sequential learning experiences using various instructional strategies consistent with the district's instructional curriculum along with Pennsylvania Eligible Content and Standards for Mathematics, and design individual learning plans based on a variety of assessment data.  In addition, the successful applicant will communicate student progress to classroom teachers, parents/guardians, and building administrators on a consistent basis and work collaboratively with other educators to engage students in meaningful, targeted instruction to address specific learning needs.

One (1) Grade III Pre-K Counts Paraprofessional (New Temporary Position – Grant Funded).  The position is at the Corry Area Primary School.  This vacancy is a full-time 10-month position that involves a 182-day work year,
6.5 hours/day, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (subject to change based on student need).
Additional Responsibilities/Requirements:
• Candidate must have experience working in a Pre-K Counts environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Lead Teachers and the other Aides on the
team while providing support within each classroom.
• Must complete 24 hours of continuing professional education during the 2022-23
school year.
• Be familiar with the Pre-K Counts assessment tool, the Early Childhood
Environment Rating Scale (ECERS-3).
• Knowledge of IEP implementation and Early Intervention compliance.

Persons interested in Support Personnel positions (secretary, para-professional, instructional aide, cafeteria & custodial) who wish to have an application on file to be considered for full-time or substitute employment must submit the following information:
