Corry Homecoming Plans Announced

Homecoming spirit week is October 3-7. Students will be encouraged to dress for the daily theme and homeroom teachers will submit their daily totals for each class to vie for the spirit banner later in the week.

The homecoming parade is set for Thursday, October 6. The parade will line up at the MHS parking lot from 4:00 p.m. until its prompt departure at 6:00 p.m. The parade will end at CAPS. If your group is interested in joining the parade, please email [email protected].

The pep rally will be on Friday, October 7. At this time, spirit week and banner winners will be announced, and the homecoming court will be introduced to the student body. The spirit banner will be awarded to the class with the most participation throughout the week.

The Channel 98.9 Radio tailgate party will return this year to kick off homecoming night on Friday, October 7! It will be set up near the tennis courts from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the football game against North East at 7:00 p.m. Patrons will need a paid admission to the football game in order to participate. The coronation of a senior king and queen will take place at halftime.

The semi-formal homecoming dance will take place from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the East Gym for students in 9-12th grades on Saturday, October 8. Middle school students will not be permitted. Guests from other schools must be pre-approved using a guest form that can be obtained in the high school office starting this week. All guest forms are due by 3:00 p.m. on October 4. Guests must be approved before a ticket can be purchased. Tickets will be sold in room 66 before school and during A and C lunches from September 29 through October 4 only. No tickets will be sold at the door or any other time during the day, with no exceptions.
