Starting March 1st, members of the Corry Community can help the Corry Area School District Foundation raise funds to refurbish the Baldwin Baby Grand Piano in the chorus room at the Middle-High School. This piano, which is used approximately 10 months a year for between 6 to 8 hours a day, is almost 60 years old. Based on the age of the piano, it is in need of a complete refurbishment. High quality pianos when taken care of properly following a refurbishment can be used for another 60+ years.
When using the designated Pump for Charity pumps at the Corry Country Fair, the Corry Area School District Foundation will receive $.02 per gallon to go toward the piano project. The campaign will run from March 1, 2022 through August 31, 2022.
